A dated turned spindle stair banister, which had been installed by the housebuilder in Chester made the staircase look gloomy and dated. This was an unwelcoming feature especially as the staircase was located within the lounge in this lovely modern home and a contemporary staircase transformation was required to welcome light into this area and bring the hallway up to date.
