A glass staircase renovation was needed to complete the renovation of our house in Woolton and we wanted our stairs to be a major feature in giving an additional wow factor to compliment the rest of the project of turning our house into a beautiful home.
INSPIRATION
The inspiration was to design a modern striking staircase with black stained oak and bespoke glass on brackets complimented allowing maximum light to penetrate our hallway area. The style we were wanting to create was modern and aligned with the black and white theme throughout the home.
DESIGN NOTES
Painting your woodwork black – or a very dark charcoal grey – can truly elevate a space to a more sophisticated level. This one is down to taste and is often best adjusted to interior styles which rely on extreme contrast, namely between black (or dark grey) and white features. Alternatively, the usage of bespoke glass combined with the black oak can be sensational and let the light flood into the hallway as in this stunning glass staircase renovation.
